I don't have any cealing fans, so tick that one off.
And Im already ontop of my diary keeping, If I don't I would be such a mess <3
De cluttering the draws in the kitchen, something that I was avoiding.
But you know what, took me all of about 15 minutes.
I sat on the floor in front of the draws, with a bag and some storage containers.
One by one I did the draws, took out anything that I have not used for AGES, and didn't intend too.
I got rid of some steel utensils that I knew I hate using anyways and would rather have plastic and non scratchy kind.
I used small containers for the little bits that always got lost at the bottom of the draws. Stuff I always had to fuss around to try and find because they were at the bottom and at the back underneath all the other bigger utensils.
Easy... and one that you would avoid but don't, because it took no time at all and was such a refreshing feel to open the draw at dinner time and be able to find what I wanted just at a glance.
I always just walked past it and went either up stairs or to my scrap booking room or hang out washing. Always a place to avoid.
Very easy to clean up. Threw out all the old shoes that were broken or didn't fit the kids anymore. I got two empty boxes from the toy room clean up and used them here for the kids. When they get home from school they can put their school bags in there (and at the bottom of the boxes are their Rollerblades). The two white baskets are for their school letters, books and home readers. I am planning to "scrapbook" tags to hang on them so they know who's is whose. So for now its guess whose basket. The big black basket is for things I want to put into the car or anything I want to NOT forget.
It looks so much more organised now, and I love it.
Now to get the kids to "get" it.
Labels... I am determined to make my own.
Put that on the to-do list after this challenge!
